According to the White House, President Biden came back negative for COVID-19 on Monday, three days after being in close contact with an aide who eventually came back positive for the virus test.

While in an Air Force One journey from South Carolina to Pennsylvania on Friday, the president was in close enough proximity to the mid-level staff member for around 30 minutes, as per reports from officials.

The thoroughly vaccinated and enhanced staffer came back negative for COVID-19 prior to boarding the plane.

According to the White House, the aide began experiencing signs on Sunday and was diagnosed on Monday.

Biden will be examined again on Wednesday and will resume his normal daily routine, according to the White House.
