Coachella 2022 could include Billie Eilish as the headlining act.

According to TMZ, the 20-year-old Grammy winner will participate in the music event, which will take place over two weekends commencing April 15.

Travis Scott, the initial headliner, was scheduled to perform at the top of the order, but he was switched amid the horrific Astroworld concert incident last year, which resulted in the deaths of several people.

Following the current Omicron surge, the “Bad Guy” singer will accompany supergroup Swedish House Mafia for the festival, which is still scheduled to begin. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Coachella was canceled in 2020 and 2021.

At the time, Frank Ocean, Scott, and Rage Against the Machine were all expected to show up in the 2020 lineup. Ocean will make a comeback in 2023, while Rage Against the Machine will not be performing at this year’s event.

The 30-year-old “Sicko Mode” rapper was ousted from the show in mid-December amid a Change.org petition demanding his removal.

In April, Billie Eilish will participate in the 2022 Coachella alongside the Swedish House Mafia at the California music festival.

The petition stated

With the recent tragedy and unnecessary death at Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert, due to Scott’s own gross negligence and sheer lack of compassion for human life, we ask [festival organizers] AEG, Paul Tollet, and Goldenvoice to remove his [sic] as performer at all of their festivals.

In the midst of his concert catastrophe, Scott withdrew from his Dior collaboration.

In the summer of 2022, he planned to launch a collaboration between his Cactus Jack creative business and the French fashion label. The partnership has been put on hold indefinitely.

Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection.
