World Richest Man, Elon Musk, has disclosed he would be paying a sum of $11billon in tax in 2021.

With a net worth of $278 billion, Elon Musk is the richest man on the planet, topping Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Microsoft’s Bill Gates.

After already being declared Time Magazine’s Person of the Year for 2021, US senator Elizabeth Warren lambasted Musk as the world’s richest freeloader.

In a tweet aimed at Elon Musk, senator Warren said

Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else

Musk nicknamed her “Senator Karen” and told her to “stop projecting” in a public Twitter feud.

Elon musk fanned the flames on Monday by divulging the outrageously high tax bill he anticipates to pay in 2021.

In a tweet, he said

For those wondering, I will pay over $11 billion in taxes this year

The billionaire boasts that he will pay more taxes this year than any American in history, though, it is not evident if this statement was aimed at Senator Warren.

Tesla, an electric automobile company valued at $1 trillion, is one of Musk’s many businesses. A while ago, he sold about $14 billion worth of firm stock.

Elon Musk paid no federal income taxes in 2018 and less than $70,000 in 2015 and 2017, according to the report by ProPublica earlier this year.
