Nine people who were abducted in a convoy in Kaduna State’s Udawa-Brinin Gwari forest were rescued by hunters who stormed the kidnapper’s hideout.

Terrorists abducted several passengers in a convoy with a security escort from the Udawa-Brinin Gwari forest.

The hunters intercepted the robbers shortly after they attacked a group of tourists along the route, according to Malam Umaru, who alleged that the nine victims rescued are from Udawa village.

According to him,

It was a successful operation carried out by our hunters because they succeeded in rescuing nine of our people from the bandits and also caught one bandit. They are interrogating him before handing him over to security agencies.

He indicated that the hunters confronted the robbers in a shootout, prompting them to abandon the victims in their camp and that the town as a whole is delighted with the hunter’s accomplishment.

According to Malam Umaru, if the hunters are equipped with motorbikes, they will be capable of preventing banditry in the community and neighboring communities.

He did, however, applaud security agents for a previous operation in the forest.
