Officials say two males were hurt in a shooting that occurred in a cargo region near Miami International Airport on Thursday night.

After a disagreement that began earlier in the week developed into a confrontation, one man was hit in the abdomen and another was shot in the lower part of the body, according to WPLG-TV in Miami.

According to the article, two males were hurt in the shooting, a 31-year-old gunman and another person who was called in for interrogation were apprehended by airport district officials, while the two casualties of the attack, aged 18 and 23, were transported to the Miami VA Medical Center by families who worked with them.

The four individuals actively involved in the incident all work at Cargo Force, an organization that manages airline cargo and operates on assets acquired by the Miami-Dade County Aviation Department, where the shooting happened, as per Detective Alvaro Zabaleta of the Miami-Dade Police Department.

According to WPLG, a silver Nissan with bullet holes was stopped by security officers in the parking garage of the Miami VA Medical Center, and the detective indicated it was significantly associated with the airport incident. As proof, the vehicle was confiscated.

The two people who were injured were then moved to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital and are now in stable condition.
