Oyo State took the top spot, with 122 new COVID-19 cases out of a total of 404 infections, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
One Covid-19 related death was also confirmed by the NCDC in a pandemic update posted on its website on Monday.
According to the center, Oyo State is followed by the FCT, which has 84 cases.
Lagos has 52 cases, according to the report. Kaduna (51), Imo (20), Delta (18), Kano (17), Kwara (16), Rivers (11), Enugu (10), Ogun (2), and Edo (2) are the other states (1).
Nigeria has 223,887 confirmed cases, 211,537 discharged, and 2,985 deaths, according to the NCDC.
The COVID-19 cases in the country have declined for the second day in a row, according to the center, from a high of 1,584 cases reported on Friday.
As of Sunday, the country’s active cases numbered 9,383 across the country, according to the report by the agency.
When contrasted to the 8,977 active cases the agency reported on Saturday, this signifies an increase of 406 reported cases.
