Prince Harry alleges his family is in danger in England and has vowed to sue the British government if security is not provided for him while he is in the country, which he maintains he promised to pay for.

Despite problems with Buckingham Palace, Prince Harry, 37, resigned down from his royal duties in 2020 and migrated to North America with his family.

According to a release, the Duke of Sussex paid for private security guards, but his attorneys believe that additional security is required in his hometown because his family has been vulnerable to well-documented neo-Nazi and terrorist threats.

In September, his lawyers informed the Queen’s Bench Division of the High Court that if the administration does not guarantee protection for the prince, wife Meghan Markle, and children Archie and Lilibet, they will pursue a judicial review, according to sources.

According to the statement

The Duke first offered to pay personally for UK police protection for himself and his family in January of 2020 at Sandringham.

That offer was dismissed. He remains willing to cover the cost of security, as not to impose on the British taxpayer.

According to solicitors, Prince Harry’s security was exposed to danger given the lack of police protection” in his last visit to the United Kingdom in July.

The UK will always be Prince Harry’s home and a country he wants his wife and children to be safe in.

With the lack of police protection, comes too great a personal risk.

Prince Harry is the sixth in line to the throne of the United Kingdom.
