According to speculations, Thiago Silva is close to signing a new Chelsea deal. However, Antonio Rudiger could be on his way out of the Blues.
Both defenders are expected to be out of contract at the end of the season, but the club has indeed been working really hard to extend their contracts.
Silva’s transfer is not really in doubt, according to Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano. He asserted that the Brazilian will stretch his stay until June 2023, stressing that all that stands in the way now are paperwork.
Rudiger, on the other hand, does not look like he is willing to continue his career at Stamford bridge.
